There’s a knockin’ and it’s gettin’ dark out.
Another part of me, standing at the door.
There’s a knockin’, outside the right house.
I don’t want the things that I had before.

Can we get the lights turned on in this Church house?
Tell me there’s a way to make them work.
I am empty and I am broken.

When I was young, I kept Jesus on my mind;
Dimes and nickels, and saving grace.
But I got lost, in the darkest sense of selfish pride.
And started to live for Saturday.
